Covid19/Coronavirus Face-masks -Designers Creating Face-Masks.

Due to the Covid19/Coronavirus pandemic the Face-mask as we know it: white, clinical, uncomfortable-never quite fits the nose shape or the other extreme not fit for purpose with no protection-the equivalent of wearing a paper doily!

The great thing is many designers and business have re-shaped their business models, adapted and found creative ways to tackle lock-down and online retail, no easy feat and total testament to creatives taking a new idea, re-shaping it with their own personal design signature. Of course there has been the other end of the spectrum which has seen the over-inflation of common essentials required during the pandemic such as masks and hand-sanitisers.

The unassuming face mask, set to be our ‘normal’ fashion staple has become the new creative canvas for designers looking to personalise and make a unique design statement.

What we would advise however is to make sure you do your research in terms of protection levels, it can be a mine field trying to understand what level of protection you require.
